Our client, a prominent shopping center enterprise overseeing multiple retail destinations across Australia and New Zealand, manages an extensive gift card initiative encompassing physical and digital variants. Despite this, pertinent information concerning gift card offerings, sales, and transactions is dispersed across diverse origins—spanning reporting databases, external services, and third-party vendors. To bolster the monitoring of potentially fraudulent activities, our client sought a centralized repository that would consolidate all gift card data. This strategic consolidation facilitates comprehensive analysis, granting valuable insights into program visibility and transparency.
Our engineering team has partnered closely with the client’s data platform experts to craft connectors that seamlessly bridge both internal and external data sources. Within the overarching framework of the unified data platform, a comprehensive data model was designed, serving as the bedrock for amalgamating information from Gift Card Management and Point of Sale (POS) systems across Australia and New Zealand. The integration of external data, sourced from channels like the Stripe API, was orchestrated within this Unified Data Platform.
In response to the imperative for robust analytics, our team scrutinized the essential data components. This data forms the cornerstone for the construction of Aggregate tables. These tables play a pivotal role in channelling data flow into a tailor-made Tableau dashboard, a dynamic tool that significantly streamlines business reporting processes.
Ingrity’s unwavering dedication has been instrumental in elevating the efficiency and reliability of the gift card program, culminating in heightened transparency for the client’s Australian and New Zealand Gift Card initiatives.
